JOB DESCRIPTION

Jackson, Landrith & Kulesz, PC seeking a talented and motivated Civil Litigation Attorney to handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment and investigation to trial and post-trial matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including business disputes, contract disputes, personal injury, real estate, and other civil matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and handle all aspects of civil litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward favorable resolutions for clients.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff within the firm.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in civil litigation.
• Proven trial experience and a track record of successful case outcomes.
• Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
